The Movement – Rolex Caliber 4161

The Yacht-Master II comes equipped with caliber 4161. A self-winding mechanical regatta chronograph movement entirely developed and also manufactured by Rolex. This mechanism represents the result of over 35,000 hours of development. So, the Yacht-Master II introduces a new regatta countdown with a unique and also patented mechanical memory created by Rolex.

RING COMMAND BEZEL – Chronograph countdown setting:

Rolex Ring Command Bezel comes integrated and also becomes the active part of the movement. Although, the bezel typically comes as a separate component and also operates independently from the movement of a watch. So, The “RING COMMAND BEZEL” turns 90° counter-clockwise into the position of the bottom chronograph button function also being used to set the duration of the 10-minute countdown chronograph. Each press of the button adjusts the duration of the countdown from 10-1 minute in 1-minute increments. Moreover, rotating the bezel back to its central position allow the chronograph buttons to revert to their regular operation.
